MODERN PHOTOGRAPHY

FOR FAMILIES THAT LOVE THEIR LIFE

FAMILY DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER

LONDON & ST ALBANS … AND ANYWHERE PLANES FLY

You may feel like your life isn’t interesting, but I promise it is!

Your ordinary moments are what make you ‘YOU’ and add up to a beautiful, inimitable family story of a life well lived … capturing this is the art of family documentary photography.

…SO THAT YOU REMEMBER NOT JUST THE WAY LIFE LOOKED, BUT HOW LIFE FELT…

‘It’s been so emotional, we’ve all been in tears looking through our gallery! How do you know to capture those moments that last a second … Absolutely perfect!’

LISA, ST ALBANS FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT

WHY DOCUMENTARY?

OUR LIVES ARE MADE UP OF THOUSANDS OF LITTLE STORIES…

Memories of toy-strewn bedrooms and long-forgotten toys. Questionable fashion sense and posters of teen crushes that hung on the walls. Kitchen dance-parties and dinner time debates. Garden obstacle courses and grass fights. The way your dad would forget where his glasses were, only to find them on his head. How your mum tied her hair with her grandma’s silk scarf everytime she baked, and how soft her skin felt when she kissed you.

In the vast patchwork of our lives, grand events and exciting adventures are just embellishments. It’s too easy to forget what’s right in front of us. In the end it is the marathon of the everyday, the seemingly mundane moments, that matter most, and family documentary photography provides a way to artfully celebrate this.

ABOUT EMMA

Family is my everything. Bring me all the chaos, fast pace, mess and noise. I love the rollercoaster ride of emotions, pride, exhaustion, joy, and all the laughs and tears these bring. We have days with big celebrations and exciting adventures, but it’s mostly made up of small moments and routine days that make our home and our life 100% ‘us’ … I take photos a lot, because I know that one day we’ll move on from this stage and I’ll ache to remember every detail.

What if you could have a photoshoot that looked in on your family and captured the real ‘you’. A photoshoot that gave you a new perspective of your family, how you love each other, comfort one another, make each other laugh, what your kids get up to when you aren’t looking, honest unpredictable moments … a photoshoot that celebrates your unique, real life right now.

That is why I do exactly that … I make artful, award winning natural, documentary family photos that tell the story of family life … I can’t wait to meet you and photograph yours.
